The emphasis for this group is short, slow-paced manageable walks with an empathy for members who find group walking a bit daunting & an opportunity for wildlife enthusiasts / photographers.
The Leader will be at the meeting place whatever the weather & only cancel the walk in consultation with those who turn up on the day. Wear suitable clothing, footwear & sun protection & carry a water bottle. Always keep dogs under close control.
All Leaders act in a voluntary capacity, carry a First Aid box & emergency contact list. All walkers join the walk at their own risk

| Tue 7th Jul | 10.15 for 10.30 start | Meet at the lower car park of Sence Valley, Ravenstone Road, Ibstock, LE67 6NW | Estelle | The Sense Valley All Abilities Trail is an accessible loop & a perfect, level, short walk around the Horseshoe Lake with many resting spots & picnic benches along the way. We can venture further if we wish and head up to Stonebridge Pools. This will be an easier walk to get to know people's abilities. Approx 1 mile. There are charges for parking, £2.80 for 2hr, £3.50 for 3hr, so share where you can. |
