21st March - 'The Blackberry Garden'. A talk by Alison Levey
Today’s talk was given by Alison Levey, on the creation of her large garden that she moved into in 2009. It was mainly a blank canvas, the previous owner of the house was reluctant to mention the back garden as it was very large, and would involve a lot of mowing, but Alison said that is the main reason I would like to own the property.
She started creating the garden working in sections; there was a wild area, a grassy area, a pond, borders and trees. It is amazing how quickly the plants mature and a garden is created. Alison gave us gave a very interesting talk.
