Food from Afar is the new name for International Cuisine! We aim to try all sorts of food from around the world, not just curries.

December - No Food From Afar meeting

Because the U3A Committee organised the Christmas Lunch on the same day as the Food From Afar group should have met, the occasion had to be cancelled. It is hoped that, in future years, the committee will consult the U3A diary of events before selecting the date for their Christmas lunch to ensure that the date is actually free. The Luncheon club normally forfeits their December lunch to accommodate the committee's need for a date.

In January we will be dining at the award winning Flying Horse Indian Restaurant in Coalville on 2 January 2025 at 6pm. Seventeen have already signed up for the adventure but there is room for more. If you wish to attend, please let Colin Woodland know at food_from_afar@ashbyu3a.co.uk.
