Food from Afar is the new name for International Cuisine! We aim to try all sorts of food from around the world, not just curries.

6th August 2026 - Wing Wah Burton upon Trent

Fourteen of us samples to oriental delights on offer at the Wing Wah Chinese Buffet. The Great thing about the buffet is that you can sample all the dishes and go back for more of the ones you really like. You can even choose your own selection of raw ingredients and have them cooked right in front of you. Thank you everyone for remembering to bring £10 in cash. I am sorry about the rather complicated way of paying but that was the house rule and I could not get them to change it.

Our next event will be at the Taste of Thai, Market St, Ashby de le Zouch LE65 1AP at 6pm on 3 September 2026. So Far, Eighteen people have signed up.
