Coffee and Chat

The Coffee and Chat group meets every 2nd Wednesday of the month at various cafes or tea shops.
Everyone is welcome. Sign up sheets will be placed on the table at the monthly meeting or you can book a place by email to coffee@ashbyu3a.co.uk.

9th April - Newlands Farm Café, Hilton

Despite it being quite a trek, eight of us made it to the Newlands Farm Café in Hilton. Unfortunately one of our members got a little lost and eventually turn back for home. the set up at the farm café is a little out of the ordinary with seating in a number of cosy chalets. The staff were extremely attentive, friendly and helpful. the surroundings are quite picturesque and charming.

Our next gathering will be at Bawdown Lodge Farm Café, Charley Road, Nanpantan LE12 9YE at 10am on 14 May 2025. This is a new venue for the Coffee and Chat group and it has an interesting gift shop to browse in before heading off for whatever the rest of the day holds.
