Coffee and Chat

The Coffee and Chat group meets every 2nd Wednesday of the month at various cafes or tea shops.
Everyone is welcome. Sign up sheets will be placed on the table at the monthly meeting or you can book a place by email to coffee@ashbyu3a.co.uk.

14th January 2026 - Bluebell Tea Room

Ten of us gathered at the Bluebell Tea Room in Swadlincote and enjoyed Tea or coffee and a nice selection of breads, pastries and cakes. Conversation flowed freely, as it usually does.

Our next gathering will be at the La Zouch Coffee house in Kilwardby street, Ashby on 11 February ay 10am in the downstairs back room. Ten have signed up to be there so far. If you would like to join us, please let Colin Woodland Know at coffee@ashbyu3a.co.uk.
