Coffee and Chat

The Coffee and Chat group meets every 2nd Wednesday of the month at various cafes or tea shops.
Everyone is welcome. Sign up sheets will be placed on the table at the monthly meeting or you can book a place by email to coffee@ashbyu3a.co.uk.

9th September 2026 - Toons Cute Wee Coffee Shop

Eleven of us hopped over to the Cute Wee Coffee Shop at Toons for Coffee and Chat . It was our first visit as a group. The establishment did not take bookings so we had to commandeer some tables so that we could sit together. The place is quite large and we had no trouble gathering together. Most had tea/coffee and a cake but one or two of us ordered their "Doorstep Bacon Butty" which certainly lived up to its name!

Our next gathering will be at The Barn, 38a Church Lane, Whitwick LE67 5DL at 10am on 14 October 2026. This is a new venue for our group. As last month, we will have to work out how we can best sit together as we cannot book beforehand.
