We meet on the first Thursday of the month at 9.45 am at the Packington Village Hall.

New Year - New Craft - Crochet.

About half of the ladies attending this month already knew how to crochet, but the other half didn't. Therefore, the group was divided into two smaller groups. Each person chose the colour wool they wanted to use before I explained to the experienced ones what they would be making. It will be a small shoulder strap bag that will eventually be lined with a fabric. I then went to the beginners and showed them what to do before they began a 2 inch practice square. Most of them mastered a good tension by the time they were half way through the square m\king their square. Almost all of them were able to move on to begin the bag project by the end of the session.

We will continue working on the bags next month, and possibly into the Spring.

Our next session will be on 5 February at 9.45 in the meeting room of the Packington Village Memorial Hall.
