Welcome to Ashby u3a

Ashby de la Zouch (locally known as Ashby) is a market town in North West Leicestershire dating back to at least Saxon times.



Ashby u3a was formed in 2010 and currently has around 300 members and over 30 different interest groups.


The u3a organisation is aimed at those who are no longer in full-time work. It's motto is Learn, Laugh, Live.

The aim is to offer opportunities for members to share learning experiences and social activities in a wide range of interest groups for fun, not for qualifications.

u3as are self-help, self-managed co-operatives and there are now over 1000 of them nationally.
