Today for our latest meeting we had a talk and slide show given by Sally Cunningham on Plants from the Past that was attended by 32 members. It was very instructive with information on when some of the oldest plants were found in our country and when varieties of plants and trees were first introduced here and the countries of their natural habitat. She also talked about plants used to dye fabrics and various other things plants are used for. Our next talk will be given by a guide from Hidcote gardens prior to our visit in May.
